The mine dump truck is used for underground work, tunnelling and mining, and removing waste soil. The main features of the mine dump truck are compactness, power efficiency, high maneuverability and a small turning radius.
The machine 23DT ss equipped with a hydrostatic 4-wheel drive Bosch rexroth, consisting of a variable displacement pump and four separate wheel motors Poclain. Hydrostatic thrust prevents wheel spin and delivers more power to the wheels, increasing efficiency by 12%. Use of hydrostatic four-wheel drive instead of a drive shaft and axles ensures more efficient power transfer to the wheels and lower fuel consumption.
The dump truck 23DT works together with the load haul dumpers 20HD and 25HD.
