The tour to these countries was part of a working visit to the DRC and Senegal by the Head of the Secretariat of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum, the Ambassador-at-Large Oleg Ozerov, organized by the Association of Economic Cooperation with African States (AECAS).
The embassies of the Russian Federation in these countries provided active support to arrange meetings with representatives of the mining sector, including the Deputy Minister of Mining of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mr. Godard Motemon Gobelum, heads of the largest state-owned mining companies, members of the Association of Miners of the three countries. During the visit, a presentation of the CHETRA bulldozers and negotiations on its use in state programs for the mechanization of the mining industry took place.
The design of CHETRA bulldozers combines traditional Russian reliability with modern solutions in the field of machine engineering. The special design for countries with hot climates ensures efficient operation of the machines in conditions of high humidity and temperatures up to +55 degrees, which was positively evaluated by potential buyers.
“Today, Africa is one of the fastest growing mining equipment markets in the world. This continent is home to the largest mineral reserves, the production of which is actively growing with the exit from the 2020 pandemic year. And the CHETRA company is now actively working to expand its service and sales network in this region. As a result of the visit, serious work will be done with potential partners in African countries. We expect that by the end of this year, a new batch of CHETRA bulldozers will be shipped to the continent”, - Alexey Pavlov, Head of Export Sales of CHETRA LLC says.
