Week of Concern Tractor Plants

Tractor Plants concern week, May 27-30, 2008 From May 27 to May 30, 2008 at the Krylatskoye technical sports stadium (the city of Moscow) under the motto “Made in Russia” a large-scale project was held – Tractor Plants concern Week.

This event was held with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation and by order of the Minister of Industry and Energy of Russia No. 190 of April 16, 2008, is included in the list of the most important specialized exhibitions in Russia and abroad. On May 30, on the final day of the week of the Tractor Plants concern, the finals of the international competitions of machine operators for the CHETRA and CITY CHETRA cups were held. Among the global manufacturers of heavy tractor equipment, only the Russian machine-building holding – Tractor Plants concern – holds similar competitions among consumers of domestic products from related industries. The event was attended by Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

On the same day, the “Russian Tractor Show” took place. Numerous viewers of the show were presented nine performances by machines for the agriculture, road-building, public utilities and logging, as well as for the oil and gas, and mining industries. Such performances as “Taming the Fire” to the music of K. Sviridov by Russian CHETRA brand bulldozers, Polyushko-pole, to folk music by the A-LEX-2E backhoe loader and other equipment, etc. were shown.
