Visit to Railway Museum (Yekaterinburg)
Report on how the pupils of the Cheboksary orphan asylum visited the Railway Museum.
With the support of the enterprises of the "Tractor plants" holding, children from orphan asylums visited unique scientific and technical museums of Russia. From 11 to 14 January 2013, two groups of children from Yekaterinburg and Cheboksary visited the Museum of Tractor History" and Railway Museum.
12 January, children of the orphan asylums from Cheboksary arrived in Ekaterinburg. In the capital of the Urals, group of ten children got acquainted with the history of Russian Railways from the creation of the first locomotive by the Cherepanov brothers to the modern achievements in the sphere of railway transport.
Unique new year's initiative was made possible thanks to the close cooperation of CHETRA – Industrial machines JSC and Promtractor-Promlit LLC with Russian Railways JSC, which embodied children's dreams into reality. ";}
